End Table
Posted by Dave Eddy on Apr 27 2016 - tags: diyI had an extra biscuit joined desktop that snapped in half from the last desk that I built, and decided to repurpose it to be the top of a new end table.
Basic frame of the table. The legs are 4x4’s with all the sides chopped off with a table saw, so they are effectively 3x3’s. The top pieces are 1x3’s screwed in using pocket holes.
The complete frame with 1x2’s for the bottom shelf screwed in.
Dry fit top and bottom pieces
The bottom shelf glued, clamped, and weighed down.
The top shelf glued, clamped, and weighed down.
Two coat of finish (minwax polyshade mission oak) - Two coats were applied for the final piece.
