Today my girlfriend Skye took me out to Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday, and she surprised me with my gift! She had the waitress pretend that they were out of sprite like I had ordered, and bring me a can of Pepsi Vanilla!
Pepsi Vanilla hasn’t been made for years now, and she managed to find it somewhere deep within the Internet! Best Birthday Ever!!
I posted a new song you can check in my music section! It’s called Lullaby (Rock), because it is a rock/metal version of my piano song Lullaby. Check it out.
I updated the way drupal names the URL of my blog posts on drupal! Before, it would just call them somthining like http://www.daveeddy.com/blogs/dave/20100117 which is a nice and simple [yyyy][mm][dd] layout.
I followed this tutorial and was able to make my blog posts follow a more uniform naming scheme. Now my blog posts will take on the following form:
http://www.daveeddy.com/blogs/$USERNAME/archives/YYYY/MM/DD/TITLE
So this blog will take on this form:
http://www.daveeddy.com/blogs/dave/archives/2010/01/17/blog-archive-update-blogs-like-wordpress-on-drupal
This makes it easier to look through my blog posts, much like a blog spot or wordpress blog does.
daveeddy.com now shows up as the first result if you google “where do all dropped packets go?” :)
