I found this sweet shield on imgur and had to make one http://imgur.com/gallery/ZjuyE. I made the shield
out of 1x6 cedar pieces glued together, and used a jigsaw to cut the shield and a dremel to etch out the design.
I bought a torch from Lowe’s and needed to burn something with it! I made a basic table using some split 2x4’s
I had lying around for an insanely rustic look.
I built 4 chairs to make an outdoor sectional couch, as well as a table for my
patio. I used modified plans from Ana White for the sectional, and made the
chair design up as I went along.
I bought the Boosted Dual+ 2000W Electric Skateboard a couple months
ago and absolutely love it! It’s hands down one of the best toys I’ve
purchased in a while - I just wish this thing existed 10 or 15 years ago!
This post isn’t meant to be a review, but more or less a post showing what I’ve done
to my board in terms of mods. A review would be simple - buy one right now! It is
an incredible amount of fun. Here’s a video I made while I was in Florida
using a GoPro that clips to my helmet.
Bearings
One of the first mods I did to the board was to upgrade the stock bearings. I’ve
spent a lot of time browsing the Boosted Board Reddit Page and this
“mod” seemed like a good place to start.
I salvaged this piece from a garage sale. It was originally (no pics, sorry!) a gold color with glass circles. I spray painted it to a darker color, and cut out 1x12 pieces of pine to circles, burned them, and stained them dark to make a fancier looking piece.
I had an extra biscuit joined desktop that snapped in half from the last desk
that I built, and decided to repurpose it to be the top of a new end table.
